Hey,
So I've done some sketch work on Chet, but most of my time today was spent researching on this great websitehttp://one1more2time3.wordpress.com/ . I was able to see some great production design of some disney classics like Mulan, Bambi, 101 Dalmations and Balto. It was pretty cool looking through all that artwork, being able to see how some of my favorite childhood movies were created and put together. I also had a meeting with my lecturer Andy, which was good because he told me to keep going - but did remind me that I only really have THREE more weeks! Eeeek! So I'm going to try to buckle down more than I already do. On a more bummer note, I think I might be getting sick, slowly but surely. On a better note, I met with another lecturer, Francis today and it was great talking to him because I got really excited about Production Design (which he told me it was called, not pre-production) and gave me some pointers to things to work on like perspective.

So I've changed it up a bit, by working on You Suck. I haven't quite finished Qubul yet, because I want to go back over the drawings with the red pen, and then back over them with black so I can produce a better set of illustrations that will be easier to give toned values to.

So I've noticed that I have big dreams of what I can accomplish in a day, and have not met my goal either today or yesterday. If only there were more hours in the day. Well I finished the sketched storyboards for today, I don't think I'm going to redraw them after all, I'll just try to clean them up tomorrow in photoshop. Also, I need to start doing the concept/character designs for You Suck. Well I'm excited to start on the new project tomorrow! Here's the storyboards.

So I have just finished the two colored concept drawings for Qubul. I have 6 of probably 7 pages of storyboards drawn as sketches. Now I need to finish the 7th page, go back over them with a pencil to clean up the sketches, and then scan them in and give them some grey tones. Then that should be the end of that project, and on to You Suck!
